Yesterday's news has been the kick in the ass I needed to get going on the job search. I don't know why, but my resume looks really childish; would anyone be willing to look it over and make suggestions? Also, when applying for retail jobs at the mall, do I need a cover letter? I assume yes, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, the youth employment centre is a good help. Give them a call too. Volunteer = Good. Don't try and make it two pages, if it only fits on one, then fine. References can be put on a second page, if you need the space.

I meant that it should be under two pages, ie- two pages absolute maximum, unless it's a complete CV.

I totally agree with you - even if it doesn't seem that way. :) I'm not sure how much stuff she has on her resume, So i just meant to say that one page is okay, too. :)
