It's riviting, isn't it? I would've never thought it though. I was sure that was a safe seat.

He's just always seemed so solid. I thought he was safe- I was watching the numbers come in and my stomach just dropped.

I don't know if you saw it, but the article in today's Freep about it was pretty illuminating. Apparently Reg thought the same thing - he only spent two days campaigning in the riding, spending more time elsewhere! Can't take anything for granted, especially when your party is being battered.
