You know what sucks? Other than the fact that this map of Manitobadivides the areas around Thompson that I'll be travelling to in a way that makes me have to download four separate PDF files, it looks like I'm going to have to take the train to Pikwitonei.

You know what's even more frustrating? Searching for Pikwitonei in GoogleMaps and ending up in Winnipeg. No! Bad internets, no cookie.

Okay, google map. I think the whitish area here is Pikwitonei. I still have to figure out how to get there (along with York Landing and Cranberry Portage).

Oooooh. I <3 Cranberry Portage. I went there as a kid and toured around on a houseboat for 4 days with all of my extended family. It was fantastic! But, being ten at the time, I do not remember how we got there.

I think we drove past Cranberry Portage. It's near Flin Flon. Really beautiful country up there.
