Rewatching RotK. After learning about the comitatus and the relationship between lord and retainer in both the Battle of Maldon and The Wife's Lament, Eomer nearly made me cry:
Now is the hour, Riders of Rohan, oaths you have taken! Now, fulfill them all! To Lord and Land!

Karl Urban just nails it. Wah.

My ankle hurts a lot today. I think I overdid it yesterday. Also, I'm suffering from the death flu. *shakes fist*

The death flu? Is that the same thing as the man flu? Because from what I've heard the man flu is bad! But get better soon! :)

Like the man flu, yes. Really, it should be called the anthro-girls flu, since pretty much everyone in the anthro club at school has had it- [livejournal.com profile] pyroclasticgrub brought it in to us, it hit [livejournal.com profile] numensule particularly hard, [livejournal.com profile] madamerotten was suffering for a little while and now I've got it.

And I'm just the biggest baby ever when I get sick. Mostly because I got sick so often as a child, I'm used to being bratty about it.

Get better!

And, I've had a copy of RotK since Christmas day, and I haven't seen it yet. ::pouts:: Damn silly job. I need four hours to myself!
