So my professor has invited [livejournal.com profile] pyroclasticgrub and I to dinner with him and a colleague tonight. I'm supposed to be going to band, but Shannon and [livejournal.com profile] zanzibar_mcbean aren't going. I am conflicted.

Also, I got this in an email from APALA:
If you are wanting to publish in the proceedings, remember, you MUST
bring a digital copy of your presentation paper. MAXIMUM 20 pages (less is better) double spaced, INCLUDING all text, notes and reference. PLEASE make sure this is a presentation paper, not the full paper you would have submitted for a class.

What the hell is the difference between a presentation paper and a regular paper, and why do I get the feeling I'm going to have to rewrite what I have? Shit.

I'm getting the worst stress headache. Oww.

I hope things slow down a bit for you soon. <3

I still need to give you and Daron your Christmas presents.

I didn't even notice that part of the email. I just saw the 20 pages or less, and sighed since my paper's 22 pages. What does that mean, I wonder?

Are you going to the dinner?

I sent them an email asking about the presentation paper thing. I'll let you know the answer.
