Wank on, my sisters.Why yes, LotR fandom is teh craziest fandom in the world. This has been amusing me off and on the entire weekend (proving indeed, I have no life.)

I defriended them because it was mainly "liek omg billy boyd is so hawt!!!!111! u r all jellus 'cuz he's gonna marrry meeeeee!!!!!111!" Or words to that effect. I just got tired of it, because hey. I like the man, but I also love good grammar, spelling, puntuation and capitalization.

And now there's this whole thing with a girl who's claiming photgraphs as her own, and saying she's a sketch artist when it seems pretty damn obvious that all she's doing is tweaking photos in photoscop...stuff like that. Read the links on that site if you have the time- there is some damn funny stuff in there.

I like your characterization of fangirls and their chatspeak. It irritates the hell out of me as well. I always got made fun of because I used full sentences, punctuation and capitals online. I'm sorry, but if you want people to take you seriously, you must show that you have some basic command in your language, and that includes being able to TYPE CORRECTLY!
