Still sick. Was up again at four, went back to sleep at 7, just woke up again.

Dude! I watched only a few skaters last night's broadcast of the World's, and dude. I just want to see Emmanuel Sandhu stick it all together when he needs to. It's so crazy- Mom found my box of pictures from the 98 world championships, his first.

So wee. Man, I can't get over how obsessed I was with skating, and how this year I just haven't kept up with it at all. I feel so out-of-the-loopy. I think a huge part of it is that Bourne and Kraatz are pro now; they, along with Browning, actually got me interested way back in 94 and now..wow. 10 years have gone by. I feel all old and nostalgic and stuff.

Can I tell you a secret? I actually really like that song. And I can imagine it being sung...well, if not folky, at least very stripped down. Possibly with a banjo. And in my head it sounds pretty good.
