lakeeffectgirl: I explained "WRONG AIRPORT" to alaira while at Into the Music while Novillero were setting up. Haven't yet had a true WA moment, but close to when we were walking around after and we were talking about twitter of all things and I shouted "I don't want to read your Tweet summaries!!!" kind of loudly while walking past the guys loading the van.

*facepalm* You could say I'm a fan.

But yes! I saw Les Jupes and Novillero at Into the Music with alaira, _jibberish_ and the Fiance. I picked up Les Jupes EP, and we went for coffee/dinner/cake at the Fyxx. I was thisclose to buying a ticket to see the Weakerthans, but... no. I will be responsible, for once.

But you guys, you guys. It was so awesome to get out and just hang out with friends and all. I need to not be such a hermit (she says after one of her busiest weeks.)...My cat's looking at me all betrayed. Listen, pussy- sometimes I do leave the house. Get over it.

I tried taking pictures but I ended up fussing with the camera and not paying as much attention to the band (new song!) so I don't have any pics (also, there's the weird creepster factor that I get. Just... augh. Creepster. I end up wanting to take pictures of Dave's t-shirt and Jack's shoes. Why? IDK. )

We went out to dinner with Mark and his band after Friday's show, so I think I'm at a whole new level of wrong airport!
