1. Before I was born my mother had a very, very girly name picked out for me (seriously, it was Sarah Michelle, or something along those lines.) When I was born my dad said that I was either Corie or Corinne. The middle name Daun appears to be a family name (it's my aunt's middle name as well.)

2. My hair is both very thick and pretty long, and something about it makes it just glom onto shampoo (I don't ever use conditioner, that would just be feeding the beast.) Every few weeks I need to rinse my hair with diluted vinegar to get all of the shampoo/soap residue out.

3. When I'm really stressed and exhausted, I crave cigarettes. I've never smoked, but both my parents were heavy smokers until my dad died, and my mom quit the following year.

4. Whenever I hand out candy at Halloween, I always try to save the mini Coffee Crisps until the end, so I can have them as leftovers.

5. One of my strongest memories of being a kid out at my grandmother's house in Powerview was the time she got her neighbour to make me a pair of moccasins, and she didn't have a pen our penci to use so she outlined my foot using a bullet from her brother's stash in the kitchen drawer.

6. One of my strongest fears from gramma's house in Carmen was the basement- the stairs were really, really steep and you couldn't see everything as you went down and then once you were past the ceiling the first thing you saw was a painting of a sad clown that hung on the opposing wall. It still frightens me, just thinking about it.

7. Even if it's something I know I have to do, I get really ridiculously motivated to accomplish things if there's some sort of prize or reward, something shiny.

My parents were (and are still) quite heavy smokers and although I havent lived with them for years if I see someone on tv or in a movie smoking, I can immediately *smell* smoke. Its very weird.

When we pulled up the carpeting in here, you could smell it. Ugh.
