What I want to knit:
a ribbed zippered cardigan done in patons classic merino chestnut brown and rosewood. The rosewood would be on the botton 6 inches orso of the sleeves and body. It would also have a higher neck, longish sleeves (hitting the base of my thumb, at least) and a few inches past my hips.
I have a pretty clear idea in my head what I want this to look like. I'm going to have to do some swatches and look into some construction information, but it seems easy enough to do. (Famous last words...)
(The wedgewood colourway would probably coordinate better with what I own already, but I'm going through a pink phase. I know, I don't believe it either...)
(Like this one, but not baggy in the arms.)

If you'd like to borrow Knitting in the Old Way for construction research, it's a fantastic book.

I'd like to work with it for the colours, but also I just want to get that first sweater out of the way, work out any issues I have on that stuff before I get some really nice yarns. Maybe I'm going about this backwards.
I wish Mission Falls came in variegated colours, but maybe I can do the same type of sweater in just brown and pink?
