The wedding was interesting. It did bring up some issues though, the hardest for my mom being what do you say to someone who's an old friend of a family member and when asking when the last time you saw that person, what do you answer instead of "just before she went into rehab?"

The question took my mom completely by surprise and, since she can't lie worth shit and is just so honest that she didn't even think to say something else until it was too late. At least she didn't say "when she came to get money and a suitcase from us before going into rehab," which is the story with added detail.
