Oh god, I love Homicide. I miss Homicide. I was watching Homicide today once I got home, and dude: I spy with my little eye a wee Jake Gyllenhael (the episode Bop Gun, with Robin Williams).

David Milch created Homicide, right? That second quote especially has a very David Milch-approved if not David Milch-penned quality to it.

Nope. Based on the book Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets by David Simon (a very good read, I heartily reccomend it), and episodes written y Simon, Tom Fontana, James Yoshimura, Paul Attanasio and many, many others.

When it was on, known by it's fans as The Best Damn Show On TV. And now, one of the best damn shows on DVD.

Hmm. Milch was involved in some fairly well-regarded police drama. Maybe it was NYPD Blue (he's the guy behind Deadwood btw). Good quotes anyway.
