Handed in my baby, hung out with pyroclasticgrub, numensule and Oxford. Harassed my prof about the Northern Studies thing. Need to get going on that, if I'm leaving at the beginning of May.

Mom and I went to see National Treasure, and again, I missed the beginning. Bah. I may go see Sin City later.

...I'm free! To start planning to go up north, look for a job and plan for next year, but I'm free now!

I'm debating what courses to take next year. This whole no upper level cultural anth courses is really f-ing me over. I need to figure out where I stand on a lot of things first. Courses next year: history of the english language, discourse analysis, contemporary linguistic theory, special topics (hopefully on oral story telling), and directed readings (maybe into oral history)...maybe intro arabic? intro bio stats? see if I can talk to Izydorczyk about a special topics course into etymology or philology with him?

There are options open. I need to start making decisions.
