Yes, I realize that Lost is horribly manipulative and all, but damn. I feel like my heart's been ripped from my chest.

ETA: I really want to see Rose tear a strip into Locke over this. I know we haven't seen her for a while (btw, what's up with that? Bring her back, ptb), but I remember at the very beginning when people were speculating about her and Lovke being the two opposite forces on the island, mother/father, good/bad, nurture/nature, etc.

And while I'm not sure how much it was on her side, I do know that in the beginning, at least, Boone felt close to or responsible for Rose. Then he started gravitating more to Locke... and now he's dead. *lights a candle*

I got the sense at the beginning (and later on, with Charlie after Claire was taken) Rose sort of saw herself as the mother to many of the castaways. And now one of them has died as the result of something the father did.

I want to see Rose go all Momma Bear on Locke's ass.

Boone died. Claire had her baby. Shannon broke my heart. Jack's mad, and looking for Locke because re: Boone, "He was murdered."

Oh god, this show is so emotionally manipulative, but I love it so. I am this show's bitch- ooh yeah, spank that angst harder!

Finally! I was wondering how much longer she'd be pregant for. Wouldn't this mean that she's been preggers for like one year? Wasn't she almost term at the beginning of the season?

Nope. The time on the island has only been about 4 weeks, and she had about that much time left in her pregnancy.
