(no subject)

I've been up for three hours, and just... ugh, you guys. I'll sleep most of the day and there's curling on (nine hours today! Heaven!) and I've started weaving in the ends on my vest but it's going to take forever because I can only do it for so long before my neck starts to hurt. I have some other knitting I could get started on- there's no rush for the vest, other than possibly wanting to wear it for Christmas dinner (but then I run the risk of spilling food on it, because that's what my family does).

I went in to the shop yesterday for about 45 minutes of spinning before I had to head off to pick up mom, and I'm loving the Sea Silk fiber I'm working on. One lady came into the back and asked how long I'd been spinning and after hearing my answer, she said I'm a natural. So, on the list of things I'm apparently a natural at are: spinning, latte making, scone baking. Mom says I should list them on my resume, but I think she's mocking me.

Currently reading the new Pratchett, Unseen Academicals. It's not my favourite Discworld, but I am enjoying it.
