I just keep staring at the screen. I don't know what it is about my not being able to get work done, but I feel my arms and back cramping up a bit, and I'm thinking about going out on my bike since it's the last nice day to do so, probably until next spring. And then I rememered that I need to exchange the yarn I got, since I'm pretty sure they have the right dyelot, so I'm probably going to ride my bike over to Michael's.
zanzibar_mcbean and
ananasananas: I'm already getting green bruises on my shins. From now on, I go nowhere without the wheels if I need to carry the drum case at all.
Run for the Cure was fun. Going to Starbucks afterwards with Daron was even more fun. Standing in our kilts on the driveway, squeeing over Bon Cop Bad Cop was the funnest of all.
(seriously, one of these times we need to figure out a way to drop our equipment with someone, strip out of our uniforms into running/walking clothes, and run. We'll be among the last to get going, but who cares. Also, we can have awesome pink knit scarves.)
ETA: Success in obtaining and exchanging the correct yarn. Also, riding was fun but scary when I decided instead of detouring and adding another 5 minutes to my ride, I would just go the two blocks down St. Mary's with all the construction and unfinished roadwork jutting out into the one open lane. Bad, bad idea.
