(no subject)

I spent the whole day feeling like crap. Overtired and cranky- then we went clothes shopping. Fuck, if there was ever a worse time to go, I don't know what it. Everything I tried on made me feel horrible and awful. Eventually convinced mom to come home, to avoid having a meltdown in the store.

Came home and slept for a couple of hours. Woke up, talked to coleman_genie, read, took a shower and ate. Still feel like crap, so that wasn't it.

Two bright spots today- coleman_genie talked me in to going to Spruce Woods with her on Monday. I'm excited- I get to go to a desert. Yay! I'll take pictures.

The second thing is this incredibly beautiful collaboration by irisbleu and linnpuzzle, based on the section "Somewhere in America"(to download, go to Gmail, username: prairiedaun.music, password: theweakerthans) in American Gods. Note-perfect and delicate, at times I could almost hear Neil Gaiman's voice in it, not that it's mimicing him. The City of Towers.

I need to try and write my course description on textual analysis. Shite.
