Was just woken up from a fitful sleep (I had a bad headache when I woke up at seven). "Wake up, the plumbers are here!"

I don't know if I fell back asleep or not, but next thing I know mom's throwing on the light (in the basement where I sleep) and there's a large bearded manfollowing her towards the pipes. Um.

So it doesn't look like we'll be making it for the Indian buffet today. Damn. And I still have a headache, and now they're drilling and I just want to make it all stop.

So. Pipe band meeting went well. We've decided to focus on what we should have focussed on several years ago: improving our skills as musicians and taking on (younger)students to get new people involved. I'm actually feeling good about band now.

Watched CSI. Holy fuck is all I'll say. House, Last and CSI have all just been amazing this week: I think part of my being emotionally strung out is related to the storytelling I'm taking in here. Holy fuck.

Helping mom pack, since she hasn't yet. And she gets on my case when I'm not packed by the day before when I head out for a few days at the lake. Arrgh.
