Since it's been almost nine months since I last cut my hair, I'm getting it chopped off again this afternoon. Hopefully- I have no money, so I hope she'll sccept a cheque from my mom later tonight.

The various chemical vapors wafting around the house are giving me the worst headaches ever. Bah.

So last night after crawling into bed (at nine, for shame), I ended up reading all of The Woman Who Rides Like A Man. At least the writing is getting a bit better, but I'm still shaking my head at the BedouinBazhir characterizations, and Alanna's wanting the women to shed their veils. Dude, you just showed up, like, a week ago. Don't be so surprised that these women want to hang onto a thousand year old cultural custom. *shakes fist*

Damn headache. I'm thinking of going outside and reading in the fresh air until my appointment. And figuring out how to answer those ethics questions. Erk.

So, haircut: I wish she wouldn't blowdry my haor, since it makes it poofy, and I can never tell what it will look like once it de-poofs. I wish it were longer in the front, shorter in the back and hadn't been layered quite so much. I also wish I could dye it a darker brown- I'll either have to do that or just stay out of the sun completely this summer.

Meh. We'll see how I like it tomorrow, when I put gel in it after showering.

I'm not going to go see it (I'm really, really not) (well, maybe at the cheap seats or as a rental)but I always squee a little when I see the trailer for The Longest Yard because Bill Fichtner! Eee! Am such a fangirl. Need to find someone (and the cash) to go catch Crash sometime this weekend.

It's very windy and humid. I'm hoping we have a bitchin' storm tonight. :)
