I love it when I type up the minutes for club meetings.

Gelati baboons- their deliciousness was debated. Meeting quickly fell into chaos.

So my fake uncle!Tom (who sings in the band Ard-Ri, which I know at least piratelooksat20 has heard of) is doing what I wish mom would- he retired after the death of his wife, and is travelling around the world.

Oh! I just read his latest email, and it makes me happy/sad.

Later that evening I retraced my steps and found it no problem, just imagine! The problem arose trying to find my way home after the match was over and a few pints consumed. Wasn't easy I tell you, but my 32 years experience with the highways dept. served me well. It wasn`t the first time me and Don Johnston had to find our way home from some party in northern Manitoba using only basic survival skills.

N'awww. Of course, now I'm curious as to what he and dad got up to when they were away.

But yes, this is what I wish mom was doing- with a good travel buddy of course. Maybe after I leave home I can convince her to sell the house, and take off for a while.

I miss my dad. I wish Tom were here, I'd love to ask him for stories about my dad. I don't really want to email him about it while he's travelling, but once he gets back, I'll invite him over for dinner- I'm not sure about mom though. Sometimes she gets weird talking about Tom. I think he reminds her of dad so much, and since Janie is no longer here... it's hard for her.

Oh well. If it really upsets her, I could ask her to spend the evening at my aunt's house. I really would like to have dinner with Tom some time.

It would be good if my teacher could get back to me to let me know exactly what I'm supposed to cut out from this hugeass project, since it's due next week. And if she could email us the questions for the History of Linguistics exam, like she said she would, that would be great too.

My god, I'm just very on edge at the moment.

Watching Canada play Denmark at World Men's Curling Championship, solely because Scott Pfeiffer is a cutie.

Hey, I never claimed not to be shallow. And it's not like I'm shallow all the time.

My teacher still hasn't emailed me back, and I'm not sure how to proceed on my paper. I plan on stalking her at her office tomorrow.
