Oh man, I just remembered one of my favourite Kids in the Hall sketches.

Dave: Perhaps we should try injecting some political issues into our discussion.

Scott: [impressed] Wow...

Dave: For example: what do you think of the issue of gays and marriage?

Scott: [thinks for a moment] I think they should. Maybe... I don't know! [even more impressed] Wow...!

[Kevin enters and sits down next to them.]

Dave: Hey Smitty! We were just discussing the issue of gays and marriage.

Kevin: [pleased] Oh, really?

Scott: Yeah... it's a complicated issue.

Kevin: What's so complicated about basic human rights?

Scott: I don't know.

Dave: Well, aren't we really just fighting for the right to be trapped in loveless marriages as well?

Kevin: That's not the point.

Dave: Well, I just happen to think that gays were meant to live in sin.

Scott: Yeah... it's hotter that way.

Kevin: Why do I bother talking to you two when you're so uninformed? Can't you see that because we bond outside the law, our relationships don't matter?

Scott: Well, mine don't.

Kevin: [annoyed] I'm talking about normal people, not a complete slut like you.

Scott: I'm not a complete slut!

No statement being made here; just thought it was really funny.

I just watched The Order. It was...okay. Not great, but I didn't hae it, either. I'm not sure how it could have been better; it just was.

I made scones, and I'm dutifully eating them with my tea.

I really should get to work.

Man, it is such a nice day. I'm going to open up the windows and air this place out.

I can hear a windchime. It sounds nice.

I'm not going to fool myself- I'm a Winnipeger. I know this nice February weather only happens because of Festival du Voyageur, but I'm not going to let this pass me by.

ETA: I've turned off the heatso I don't feel guilty about having the heat on and the windows open. It's -4C (24 F) and it feels glorious.

I have put on a sweater, I'm not impervious to the fact that it's -4. Still cold, but not nearly as cold as it shoud be.

For some reason I'm pronouncing what I'm writing in my head, and I've got a strange Irish accent going. I have no idea where it's come from.

Yes, I know I suck.

Where the hell do I look for "The Order" fanfic? Googling it just brings up a lot of Harry Potter fic.

Or does looking for said fic only lead to pain and embarassment?

Whee!

Have found an unofficial Nikolaj Coster-Waldau fansite. And new pictures!

Am doing a happy dance over here.

ETA: !!!! Dude! He signed the guestbook, and says he's doing a little thing on Ridley Scott's new film.

Okay, both really, really excited, and very curious.I assume not Tristan & Isolde, since it's in post-production. So that's either In Her Shoes or Kingdom of Heaven (which would be really, really great. Well, both would be great, but still. Yes. Never mind.)

I'm still really looking forward to Wimbledon.

Eeee, I'm a big dorky fangirl.

I relaize I'm posting like crazy, but dude! New Troy trailer!!!

Mmm.

Whee! New layout. I may play around with one of the other pictures for the background. Hmm. I got ideas.

Oh, and one of these pics of Nikolaj from the site really shocked me. Well, there are all the ones of him tied up, blindfolded, and one from Misery Harbour of him being lashed, but I think it's this picture that has me the most shocked of all.

!!!

*fans self* Well then. Ummm, moving right along. I would put up the screencaps from Enigma, but they're pretty dark.
