I've now watched all of the Appendices in TTT:EE. I love every single part of these things. I love seeing all of the effort that went into the detail. My mom said something about it that rung quite true: normally she can't stand watching movies over and over again like I do, but now that she's seen the level of effort and detail she's willing to watch these over and over again, not just to see them and say "oh, that's how they did that" but rather to really appreciate everything appropriately.

Really, I just want to write a big old love letter to Peter Jackson and everybody, telling them how much I appreciate these movies and thank them for the sheer amount of pure enjoyment I get from them.
