Okay, so far I've defined and found the etymological basis of:

Jolly Roger
cutlass
avast
keelhaul
blimey
treasure
booty
freeboote (and filibuster)
plunder

I have a list of more words, but I want input. What words would you say absolutely need to be in there?

bilge rat? (kind of a sailing term really)

mutineering?

But all things aside, the definitions you have are pretty good...and they look like they could be fairly long definitions as well...
