prairiedaun Mar. 5th, 2009 12:13 am)Ended up buying Watchmen tonight since it didn't look like I was ever going to get to borrow my cousin's copy (never mind that he spilled chocolate milk over the last ten pages of it.) (And that I may never stop teasing him about spilling chocolate milk on his comic book.) I'm getting really hooked on the story, even though a lot of it is making me feel uneasy and anxious. I can tell already that I'm going to be going back to certain bits and finding more later, so A+!
Two nights in a row of knit night get-togethers, and I've come to a conclusion about both: I like these evenings, but I have a hard time dealing with such big groups of people. It can get kind of loud, there are multiple conversations going on that are trying to involve you and just... *hands* It's mostly because I spend so much time alone, I know, but it can be really overwhelming. Never mind that I don't actually get much knitting done.
