prairiedaun Aug. 25th, 2006 02:57 pm)I feel a bit like an ass. I begged mom to drive me out to Ram Wools so that I could take back the Selkirk wool and get some cashmerino so that I could work on the Fetching wristwarmers from Knitty, and lo and behold it was closed for inventory.

So I took mom to Tim Horton's to apologize.
"At least you hadn't taken the bus out there instead."
True, mom. Very true.
So, I still have to go back to return this wool, and I won't be able to start my wristwarmers for a while yet, since I can't go tomorrow because of the garage sale and it's closed on Sundays. On the plus side (sort of) I'm falling in love with this wool again and am considering hat and mitten patterns. Damn.

What kind of knitting needles are you?
You are interchangeable.Fun, free, and into everything, you've got every eventuality covered and every opportunity just has to be taken. Every fiber is wonderful, and every day is a new beginning. You are good at so many things, it's amazing, but you can easily lose your place and forget to show up. They have row counters for people like you!
