Luckily I picked up on this before I got very far in, but I'm sure it will save me grief at some point: if you have to kitchener (graft) a large number of stitches (really, anything more than 10) use some form of stitch markers at regular intervals on both sets of stitches. When you get close to a marker, check that you have the same number of stitches left on both sets.
I'm grafting together the Lilac Leaf shawl, and that's two sets of 95 stitches. I can just imagine the trouble I would have gotten into with this.
Following yesterday's drumming, both of my shoulders are quite sore, along with most of my right arm. :( It'll be better in a day or so, but for now... :( I took a bath and soaked in some Lush bubbles and drank my tea and just tried to shake the :( away.
