Mother's Day has been very good- mum loved the little things I got her, loved the waffles and coffee for breakfast, and loved being able to stay in bed until noon. I pointed out that other than the gifts and waffles (normally I do pancakes) that's a normal Sunday for her. "And I love you for that." N'aww.

I am very, very close to finishing my jaywalker socks (jwalks!) that I've been working on since mid-March. It's been a tough slough, the second sock going much slower than the first, but I refused to give up and now I'm 10 rounds from kitchnering the toe. \o/ I'm trying to decide what to do next- part of me wants to go out and buy more yarn, but that's rediculous since I have more than enough right next to me.

I am avoiding work things that are stressing me at the moment. I'll be calling my boss in Lac du Bonnet tomorrow and getting some stuff sorted. I'm mostly focussing on the fact that in a month and a half or so, this will be done (hopefully) and I can concentrate on getting a job that doesn't require me to live almost 2 hours away from home during the week, (possibly) with my boss. :| They don't make you do that at Chapters or Starbucks, right?
