I've been awake for about 3 hours now, thanks to the cat. I have, however, finished up the last little details on my cardigan (save sewing on buttons), made and uploaded new icons and gone with a new page layout.

I need to get moving, though. Need to get buttons, a printer cartridge and coffee before curling. Luckily I have another three hours, but still. Damn cat.

NAKNISWEMO: ~~~NAILED IT~~~

Pictures to follow at some later date. I like my buttons, plus the other buttons I picked up because cute! I need to knit more things that require buttons. So cute!

I'm tiiiired and I still have to pack, but on the upside, I now have a round-trip bus ticket to Madison and back (and for 295 Canadian because the guy didn't have the stuff to convert. \o/)

Currently I'm stuffed full of Chinese food and trying to talk myself out of taking 6 sweaters (along with my 7 t-shirts and 3 pairs of jeans). I don't need this many clothes! But I might need my green knit hoodie as well as my crappy black one, never mind my new cardigan. Woe, for someone so fashion-challenged I have too many nifty things.

Also, I am crossing the border tomorrow and after hearing so many horror stories about it this week, I'm a little worried, dude. I've done the border before (obvs.) but never on a bus.

Also also, I need to clean up my mp3 player and upload it with new tunes. I haven't changed anything up in a few months and I'm getting kind of bored with it.

Put your player on shuffle.
The first lines of the first twenty songs that come up are your "poem/song"
The 21st line is the title.

Turn Away

I'm a Hussar I'm a Hun
Weak, at the best of times

Let the waitress put the chairs up
Well they encourage your complete cooperation

I present some sober advice
Well I just got out my little red book

So the seasons changed your face
wave to the day as it's closing

ooh, and it's all right
we hold in our hearts the sword and the faith

when I was a young man
well I tried my best to stop them

takes a dried up ballpoint
rain begins to fall outside the stone abbey

I fly like hope
and if your heart stops beating

I once knew a girl
my heart has lost its wind now

I know a thing about contrition
well it's times like this that everything feels all right.
