Despite not having the second half of the instructions and having to go out to buy another set of dpns (I have 2 sets of size 6 and 2 of size 8, but no size sevens. Of course.) I've starterd the Amelia Helmet. I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far.
Podcasts (and the chair I brought up here from the basement) are the best thing ever for my knitting. Last night I listened to Reading Road Trip, featuring an interview with Kevin Sessums, author of "Mississippi Sissy". It was really interesting. Also, I know I keep talking about Quirky Nomads but I finally listened to her show from last year's Toronto Pride Parade and it is wonderful and it's one of the shows that I would definitely reccomend to people to pimp Quirky Nomads.
The thing with having rushed to get so much done yesterday because I thought I'd be working today is that now I have little to do. Oh, there's still stuff I need to do but now I need to wait around here because we have family coming in. I guess I could make cookies... oh shoot. I just realized I have school library books due now, and I'm stuck here. Argh.
