Even though I still haven't gotten my first tattoo yet, I'm already thinking about my second. I'm thinking either a line from The Battle of Maldon, The Wanderer or The Seafarer.

Mom and I just got back from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet's production of The Messiah. It was absolutely gorgeous, and I had a moment in it that just.. to explain: there's a scene in Pride and Prejudice where Elizabeth is at Pemberley looking at sculptures. It's very beautifully shot and Keira Knightly is just beautiful in it, expressing not only Elizabeth's reevaluation of Darcy but also the sensuality of the scultpures.There's the realization of the beauty of body and sould- that's what I saw in this ballet, (especially in 6. But Who May Abide... Absolutely gorgeous.)

There will be some shows in British Columbia until the end of the month- check it out if at all possible.

I haven't actually gotten any work done yet this weekend. I've been trying, but things just keep happening. Bah.

And now the news that mom might be going away at the end of the month right before exams, and my cousin's social is then as well and everything's happening at once, holy crap hold me.

It figures that the one time I ever dump my class notes after finishing a course (Semiotics and Structuralism) is the one time I need them for anything else (Textual Analysis). It's not like they're even for the same department or anything.

There isn't enough *headdesk* in the world.
