So, if I'm understanding this right, I need to get a USB port, since my computer doesn't seem to have one. This way, I'll actually be able to use my mp3 player.

So... how would I hook up a USB port? Stupid Dell and their most frustrating website in the universe.

Never mind, I'm an idiot. YAYE MP3player!

So, the first thing I uploaded? Novillero. I'm such a dork. Also? I've decided to name it Brody. Because I am that much of a nerd.

If I decided to make you my religion, I think God would be kind

Oh Brody. You are awesome with the shuffle feature.

For the Supernatural fen, even for those that love a good story I must reccomend [livejournal.com profile] _cee's rituale romanum, part 1, part 2

Mom and I went to Grant Part today. Picked up Poe's Haunted, and Trespasser's WilliamDifferent Stars, two albums I've been looking for for a while now. And I picked up my own copy of House of Leaves, and [livejournal.com profile] rosie_riviter's belated birthday present. Ran into Dr. Meiklejohn, and then had dinner and Strongbow with my mom at the cafe in McNally Robinson.

I'm going to make myself some wristwarmers with the mohair an my variegated acrylic. I think I'm going to do a few rounds in reverse stockinette, then ribbing until the increase for the gusset, then stockinette. Erm. That actually sounds really messy. Maybe I can adjust the ribbing to accomodate the gusset, and do reverse stockinette on the bottom, and straight stockinette on the top.

Or, even though I swore I didn't want to do another scarf, I can make a nice soft, skinny scarf. Hmm. That'd be nice, too.

ps. I think I've decided that I'm going to make my cousin Chris a smaller version of the Villa poncho, like I made for [livejournal.com profile] _jibberish_. Just smaller, and possibly using a type of muppet pelt fun fur for the contrasting colour.

The thing for making something for her is finding something in a children's size that is mature enough for a 30-something woman, or finding an adult pattern that can easily be sized down (with enough room to be comfortable around the neck).

(For those who don't know, Christine has a condition that I can never remember the name of, that affected the growth of her limbs and chest cavity. Or something. It was never really explained to me as a kid, and I've never bothered asking now. She and Clay are just small, and have various other health issues. This is partly why Clay died in September while getting aenesthetized for dental work. Also, when they were born their life expectancy was about 30. Clay was about 35, and Chris is 32, I think.)
