The Heather Belles won at Mad Plaid tonight only because there were no other bands competing against us. Regardless, we actually played pretty well, at our first competition in over a year. And, I played pretty well (except for one flub that nobody but me could have picked up on.)
But geeze. I had four different people tell me that I played well tonight, and how important the bass drum is to the pipe band. If people keep telling me that I'm good, I may start to believe them and then have an ego about it.
But dude. Winnipeg Celtic are a fucking awesome band, and their drummers are mindblowing.
