I'm making my mom Pasha the Penguin for Christmas. Need to think of other things for her, but yes. I read through the pattern, and I understand it (yaye me!) so I'm going to look for the proper yarn tomorrow.

I'm sad that it's really not my style, but I desperately want to make Belle Epoque for myself. *sigh*

Also? I am in love with egg whites in a box, because this means I can still have scrambled eggs and omelettes. I'm still sad about my no longer being able to eat poached, soft-boiled or sunny-side up eggs. *small tear* But yes. Yummy delicious scrambled eggs with mushrooms and sausages in them. Mmm. Will need to go for a long walk later. After I get some work done, of course. And observe the Rememberance day ceremony.

Today's althistoryblog has left me thinking about how the world would be different if different things had happened leading up to and during the war, and also the differences between what is seen as a justifiable war as opposed to an unjustified one, and how individuals can change the course of history.

In that mindset, I wanted to say that I love you all in special ways. Thank you.

Blah. I just woke up from a nap. No, nap is too weak of a word- I just woke up from passing out for two hours. Gah. I must have really needed that.
