You know, the one thing I needed today, which mom promised she'd do, was to have clean sheets and Grim's mess cleaned up in my bedroom, considering I cleaned up the worst of it elsewhere.

I don't think my mom has even been in the basement. Fuck. Seriously, worst day ever. So angry.

I finished my grandmother's stole last night. Now to keep my eyes open for a nice light brooch to fasten it (it can also be worn as a scarf).

Also, I kicked ass at curling today. 7-2, WOOT.

Tonight I begin mittens, watch a movie and go to bed early. ROCK ON! \m/

Working on my first pair of mittens, and man, it sucks. However, learning quite a bit, and hopefully will not make some of these mistakes while working on the boy-cousin's Christmas present (mitts and a toque from this lovely tweed lopi wool).

Any favourite mitten patterns anyone would like to point me towards?
