I'm determined to get this damn paper done tonight. It will be rough, but gaah. Need to get it done and in.

Also, need to begin writing my annotated bibliography entries for directed readings, and studying for the History of the English Language quiz on Friday. Gaaah.

My life feels so boring- most interesting part of the day was discussing the possibly etymology project with my teacher. And I'm not even sure if it is something that I can even do for school. (It's about looking at the etymological history and semantic meanings of the word "home". *glee!*)

Today would have been my dad's 6?th birthday I'm a little off today because of it. Fall is just hard on me, really.

I'm out ten bucks- I owe the university $1031.10 for my study (the money I didn't use). My total saving at the moment?

$1021.00

Oops. I'm going to grab some spare change and head over to the bank after classes tomorrow to get this sorted. And then I'm broke. Broke, broke, broke.

Will be so glad once I get the pension stuff sorted and then start doing marker/demonstrator work. Because yeah. Not quite sure how I'm paying for next term yet (and depending on this etymology class, if I'll even be full-time next term to qualify to get the pension next term or not. Eeep.)

I need to find me a sugar-daddy. And finish this damn paper.

If you respond to this post:

1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
3. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
4. If I do this for you, feel free to post this in your own journal.

OMG, running out of time/space in this paper, and I haven't even finished the grammatical tagememe yet, nevermind the phonological and referential hierarchies/tagmemes.

Gaaaah. I do not understand the concept of the bitransitive root clause. I'm pretty sure the teacher doesn't either, or at least doesn't care. I hope.

*flails* Waaaah!

Also, what?

Wpg folk group sues to block the latest Harry Potter film from being shown in Canada
A Winnipeg folk group is suing Warner Brothers, British rock groups Radiohead and Pulp for 40 million dollars and trying to block the latest Harry Potter movie from being shown in Canada.

The group called the Wyrd Sisters alleges the Harry Potter movie due out next month contains a fictional band called the Wyrd Sisters who are actually members of Radiohead and Pulp.

In their statement of claim the Winnipeg group says the movie infringes on their trademark rights and will damage their reputation. The allegations have not been proven in court.

Neither Warner Brothers nor the musicians involved have filed statements of defence. However, Radiohead fans are fighting back and have posted dozens of messages on the Internet, calling the lawsuit a desperate attempt to get money and fame.

Dude, I could understand this if the band's name were The Hinklebrock-Fluffernut Experience, and that's the name that Rowling used in the book, but no. Wyrd Sisters has been in use for a long, long time. And dude, wyrd; I've studied wyrd. I can tell you about wyrd.

If anything, I would think that the connection between the movie and the band would be a good thing, you would conceivably have more people checking them out. But this is just dumb.
