Casting Call

I think its inevitable that as we read each other's journals we create mental pictures of each other. Post this on your own journal to find out who your friends see when they read about your life.

Two Rules:
1) The person must be in the movies or on TV (but doesn't have to be an actor/actress). The person can be specific to a role (e.g. Jennifer Elhe's Elizabeth Bennent) or just the person themself.
2) You have to post a link to a picture of said person in the comments.

These castings can be based on things in the person's personality or on physical traits you know they have.

Freaky freaky dreams last night. I blame this on extreme fatigue- my mind is so tired, it doesn't even know what to do with the random bits flying around in my brain anymore.

  • Someone told me that a story I wrote was so utterly, utterly horrible that I thought "Okay, I'm cancelling the internet. For everyone." And I did.

  • Mom was getting remarried to Bernard Hill's character from Wimbledon, and I was incredibly unhappy since he'd cheated on his wife and had already propositioned me.

  • I was trying to buy a complete set of Schleich soldiers, and they had a separate set of Indians. I was going through them, trying to match up the clothing with the nation, and then complaining that the arrows supplied were horribly out of scale, and in fact five times larger than the models themselves.

  • I had to go through some type of healing ceremony, involving a lot of the people I met up north. Part of the ritual included washing off all of the sins, and we couldn't get it all off of me. The problem turned out to be that a demon had crawled into my ear and was excreting evilness through my pores.

  • Getting married to one of the men from up north, and being incredibly happy.

And then I woke up incredibly sore and confused.

So this recipe sounds pretty good. I may try it and bring it to the dinner thing on Saturday. Zucchini Bars )

I watched the last half of Return of the king, and just bawled like a baby. I really needed that.

I have my tea, favourite pajama pants and a goal- finish two tapes today. Rawr, I can do this.

ETA: I'd like to add that Oh I could show you the way that shadows colonize snow is possibly my favouritest song lyric, ever. I have no idea why, but yes.

No society that feeds its children on tales of successful violence can expect them not to believe that violence in the end is rewarded. -Margaret Mead, anthropologist (1901-1978)

Neil Gaiman will be in Minneapolis, signing copies of Anansi Boys, the day after my birthday. I think that I should be there.

I'm having trouble typing, because my arm is still sore from yesterday. Needless to say, transcribing didn't go so well today.

Also, am I the only one slightly freaked out that The Weakerthans are on the Wedding Crashers soundtrack? I mean, yay for them and all, but still. Dude?
