I have the APALA schedule; in the email the girl said "ps Let me just say I'm really looking forward to your presentation. The clever title has me very intrigued :)"
Oh god, this is going to crash and burn, isn't it?
I'm sending my essay to those who asked. I'm saying upfront right now that I do have problems with my paper, and I'm going to try and fix them tonight/tomorrow. Especially the phonology section, the heavy use of quotes (I'm going to put things in my own words, dammit) and putting in a clearer thesis and introduction. I'm amazed, looking back on this, that she even gave me a B on it. And now I'm wondering about all of the other papers I've ever written and how they are probably crap as well.
On the plus side, we had really good pickerel for dinner tonight. Mmm.
