We're being told over and over again that we should be okay, that it isn't as bad as last time.
The main reason that doesn't reassure me is that I distinctly remember the last time, watching TV, being told that it wasn't as bad as 1950.
Still, whatever happens, I believe that we will all be okay. More than anything I am concerned about what sort of work lies ahead of me as someone whose job it is to preserve and protect something that might soon be underwater.
