Under the threat of Santa not coming, I'm cleaning up the computer room. I hadn't realized just how disgusting it had gotten.

Dude! I have a floor! And carpet! Which I'll have to vaccuum. And possibly disinfect. Or burn.

Had a wonderful dinner last night with

coleman_genie. Shannon gave me syphillis! And

_jibberish_ gave me Serenity, which I watched this morning, and

coleman_genie gave me Sin City, which we'll have to watch when mom's not home and the lights are on.

I watched the first episode of Supernatural. Eh. I'll give the other episodes a go. I'm just feeling disenchanted- I have no desire to watch Lost, I've only been able to watch 1 episode of Invasion without fastforwarding through everything but William Fichtner's scenes, West Wing is just at an inconvenient time for me and I forget to tape it, Rome is over, Kitchen Confidential is gone. There's only Arrested Development left, and who knows if it will be miraculously picked up or not. It's not that I need to watch something (and I can always download the third sesaon of Black Books), it's just fun to be happily fannishly involved in something.

But the second episode of Supernatural is called Wendigo and... I don't know. After talking to a woman this summer whose great-grandfather was a We'tigo wrestler, and hearing stories about the We'tigo, any Hollywood thing I see involving it seems to cheapen it- not jusdt the cultural values involved in the story, but my own fear and respect for the We'tigo.

Maybe I'll just skip that episode.

My friend Katie's boyfriend gave her gonherrea (I think I spelled that wrong) once... she takes great delight in showing it to as many people as possible. :)

Supernatural gets better. Like, lots. If you're not completely in love with the show by the end of episode nine, here's no hope for you ;)

Thank goodness. I just watched the second episode, and ah. The whole burning thing? Wha? You have to remove the Wendigo's heart, dude.

...also, the acting was eh. But Callum Keith Rennie!

It does take them a few episodes to get into the swing of it. But then it all just clicks, and, eee! Sometimes, you have to just ignore the plot holes and go with it, but oh, so worth it.

Dead in the Water picked up quite a bit. Will keep downloading episodes.

Also, I'm strangely attracted to Dean. It's not really a surprise, since he is quite attractive. It's surprising because Sam seems to be much more of my "type". I just don't seem to be interested in the Padalecki.

Yeah, you're sucked in. You just don't know it yet ;)

You know what it might be? Padalecki is incredibly cute, but Sam, well, you just want to smack him sometimes. Because he's all "Oh noes, everybody hates me, I am so emo, WOE." the whole time. And Dean is all "I have shiny weapons. Hee!" I mean, how can you *not* be attracted to Dean?! ::pets them both:: I love this show. It's like the Hardy Boys, only with crack and they're living on the Hellmouth.
