OMG, running out of time/space in this paper, and I haven't even finished the grammatical tagememe yet, nevermind the phonological and referential hierarchies/tagmemes.
Gaaaah. I do not understand the concept of the bitransitive root clause. I'm pretty sure the teacher doesn't either, or at least doesn't care. I hope.
*flails* Waaaah!
Also, what?
Wpg folk group sues to block the latest Harry Potter film from being shown in Canada
Dude, I could understand this if the band's name were The Hinklebrock-Fluffernut Experience, and that's the name that Rowling used in the book, but no. Wyrd Sisters has been in use for a long, long time. And dude, wyrd; I've studied wyrd. I can tell you about wyrd.
If anything, I would think that the connection between the movie and the band would be a good thing, you would conceivably have more people checking them out. But this is just dumb.

Wpg folk group sues to block the latest Harry Potter film from being shown in Canada
A Winnipeg folk group is suing Warner Brothers, British rock groups Radiohead and Pulp for 40 million dollars and trying to block the latest Harry Potter movie from being shown in Canada.
The group called the Wyrd Sisters alleges the Harry Potter movie due out next month contains a fictional band called the Wyrd Sisters who are actually members of Radiohead and Pulp.
In their statement of claim the Winnipeg group says the movie infringes on their trademark rights and will damage their reputation. The allegations have not been proven in court.
Neither Warner Brothers nor the musicians involved have filed statements of defence. However, Radiohead fans are fighting back and have posted dozens of messages on the Internet, calling the lawsuit a desperate attempt to get money and fame.

If anything, Shakespeare's ghost should be running around suing people and proposing injunctions. Sheesh! *eyeroll*

The Hinklebrock-Fluffernut Experience would be a great band. On the premise of its awesome title ALONE.

...Singular.

I thought JK Rowling was just giving us Winnipeg Folkies a shout-out. Which, you know, would be totally kick-ass. But yes, I concur that their hissy-fit is kind of stupid.

I'd have to check IMDB to see how it's listed. And dude, if it is Wyrd, it's a shout-out to the band, Macbeth and the Norns at the well of Urd.

Remember a couple of months before the last book came out and they had that article in the paper about other "Harry Potter"'s and their reaction to the series. And there was one crotchety old guy who was going on about, "she's making all this money off my name and here I am on old age pension. How fair is that?". People are crazy.

and yeah, if they get to sue, then shakespeare's ghost gets to kick their asses.
