Hmm. Thinking about it, I don't want to take too many books with me up north. The Malinowski biography, definitely.Oh, and Orality and Literacy, by Ong. Any others?

I realize that there's a typo in The Gutenberg Elegies, but it was just too deliciously ironic (I'm probably using the term irony wrong in this case, but I'm too wired to search for the correct term), and so it stays.

My right calf is spasming like crazy. It's atrophying like mad- it's so tiny now. I'm going to have to do work with weights or something once the ankle has healed.

Not related at all to books... What is that hanging from the hammock in your icon? It looks like some sort of animal, but I can't quite figure it out!

Re-reading Ong?

Yeah. I didn't really pick much up from it the first time, and since this is what I'd like to study, I figure it would be a good thing to do.
