*squints* The good news is, I no longer feel like death warmed over. Unfortunately, it is now 2 AM, and I'm not ready for school, nor tired enough to go back to sleep.
coleman_genie and I hiked about 7 KM yesterday at Spruce Woods. I hate stairs. And sand dunes. And Karen going "oooh, snake!" while behind me. And sunburns, dehydration, heat stroke and backpacks.
However, squirrels are funny in that their entire vocabulary seems to consist of "omgwtf!", and the Devil's Punchbowl is sadly not the gate to hell, but apond resulting from an aquifer. And wow- I really did hike that thing with the sand dunes. It was funny singing the marching tune from "Bridge over the River Kwai", and wow. I mean, I knew we had desertish conditions in Manitoba there, but it really did have a LAwrence of Arabia feeling to it- also, my people were definitely not desert people. Give me a good sturdy prairie or forested area any time over that.
I'll upload pictures from it eventually.
I watched Rome, and all I can say is "nnngh". Loff.
