I feel like I would be a bad LJ friend if I didn't share this: CKUW "Uncovered" Winnipeg musicians covering other Winnipeg musicians.
Including John K. Samson and Rod Slaughter covering Trouble TV. You guys, this song made me happy in my soul. I can't not tell others sbout it
Seriously, I went back to this page today and saw the other songs up there (I'd previously only seen Novillero's cover of Trans AM) and I made my "Sean Van Vleet talking about Winnipeg" face
