I got my KnitPicks order yesterday, and this morning I spent an hour winding 440 yards of laceweight. By hand. Augh. It looks okay (only had a problem with it tangling right at the end) and since I'm done the baby hat, and close to finishing the Clapotis (I'm past the point in the yarn where I was when I frogged it, and I think it's just a tad too short right now for my cousin. A few more inches, and dropping the other rows should make it long enough. Yaye!) I should be ready to start the mobius shawl for my mom's friend (although I may have to make up or adapt a new stitch pattern, since I don't have the symbol key for the pattern I copied out of a book. Whoops.)

Holy crap, this is a gorgeous shawl design. Just... look at it. Oooh.

I still haven't heard back from the professor about that class. Normally he's really fast to respond, so... I don't know. Still trying not to panic.
