Dress shopping with Shannon was unsuccessful, but even though I was the only one not to try on any clothing, I'm the only one who did buy clothing. Yes, I caved to the pressure and bought a silly scarf. Look at me, I'm cool! Eh.
We weren't shopping anywhere that had clothes that would fit/suit me, and I'm having a low self esteem day as it is. I think that I'm better off not having tried on anything today.
So, my mom saying "make sure you're home by dinner" did not in fact mean that she would be making dinner and that I'd better not miss is, but rather "I'd like to see you at some point this evening." What we have here is a failure to communicate. And I'm still hungry. And very, very tired.
