(no subject)
Redecorating is a lot what I imagine moving to be like (trufax, I've never moved house before) except for the whole not actually leaving thing, and the fact that stuff is getting piled up in my room (the basement) because we don't trust some stuff in our garage.
In theory I have less than one lace repeat to go on the shawl, however, I'm really tempted to do more repeats because I have a lot of yarn left over and I'd rather have an overly large shawl than another smallish one.
Ryan Ross is disturbingly pretty. Also, mom and I watched the repeat of the MTV VMAs Remix show, and... she likes Fall Out Boy (except that she simply cannot remember their name. At all. 3 times during their performance she asked me to repeat it. Oy.)
Tomorrow I will destress from all of this, and make some kickass cookies. Mmm, I love my form of stress relief (although it's not doing the weight loss thing any good.)
I'm watching "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" on TV, and oh god, I forgot how bad this movie is, and my unholy love for it. Augh.
ETA: Also, I just realized that it's been 2 months now since I was supposed to go back to work, and I still haven't gotten a call from them saying "sorry, restaurant's closed, you might want to find a new job." Not that I'm really surprised after the first month went by, but... you know. *sigh*
