amatia and others who do beading: about how challenging would you say this project (Henry VIII's Wedding Gift) is? I'm wanting to try my hand at other types of crafts, and that looks very pretty.
I stopped in at Michaels to pick up some yarn to make more presents- I'm not actualy sure who I'm making these for, but they'll be good "in reserve" gifts.

So I wove in the ends on my Danica scarf and have it laid out for blocking right now. I did most of the work while watching Last Holiday, laughing and crying. And now my hands smell like wet sheep. Joy.
It's too late to begin working on school projects, but too early to go to sleep. I'm not quite sure what I want to do right now, but it will have to involve Earl Grey and Tom Petty.
ETA: Made the tea, put on the Tom Petty and started a small entrelc scarf in Patons Rumor, a wonderful heathered alpaca/acrylic blend that I'm not quite sure what to make with it. It should definitely be around the face/neck because it is so soft. Nothing too fancy, but not a simple garter stitch scarf either; it needs to show off the beautiful subtle variegations in the heather. Maybe a cowl?
